The vision for this fellowship was born out of a burden in the heart of Pastor (Mrs.) Uloma Sunny-Cookey when she noticed how ill-prepared our young couples were for marriage thereby creating loopholes for satanic attacks in their marriages. She also noticed how ignorant the bachelors and spinsters were to the reality and practicality of marriage. More importantly, she found out that a lot of singles "wait until they get married" before they fully give themselves to the service of God.

This gave rise to the Spinsters' Fellowship which commenced in October 2001 with bi-monthly meetings during which there have been testimonies from these Ladies.

In February 2002, the Bachelors' Fellowship was started and Iit has also recorded tremendous success.

To satisfy this burden, this Ministry operates under the following Aims and Objectives:

1. Equipping the Singles for Kingdom exploits.

2. Preparing them for fruitful marital experience.

3. Preparing the Spinsters to be able help meets in marriage.

4. To deal with negative forces that cause unnecessary delays in being martially settled.

5. To create a forum where Spinsters and Bachelors will adequately prepared to be Spiritually, Emotionally and Psychologically balanced in life.

6. To enable them fully utilize their God-given gifts and talents in their local church and the world at large.

7. To reach out to the privileged and other single in the society

8. That our Sons may be as plants grown up in their youth, that our Daughters may be as pillars sculptured in palace style (Ps 144:12).

9. To equip the Singles be channels of blessing to their generation .

10. To enthrone Jesus in the heart of all singles in the ministry.
